Mr. Jason Smith

Jay (Jason) Smith is from Muskoday First Nation, Saskatchewan. Jay attained an undergrad in Criminology and Justice from University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the Edwards School of Business. After working with youth and families in conflict with the law he focused on Indigenous Entrepreneurship and worked in Financial Institutions specializing in Indigenous Commercial and Small/Medium Business Banking. From this he recognized a need for an Indigenous led group such as the ICCS. He hopes to help it grow and become a central hub for the Indigenous business community while connecting to those who want to work with the Indigenous business community in Saskatchewan. Jay is now a Corporate Manager with a gaming corporation in Saskatchewan.
